We all had been speculating about Nintendo 3DS for some and despite the fact that there is no confirmed launch date or pricing of the

console for the US region, GameStop has gone ahead and has put the much-coveted game console up for Pre-orders. You need to cough up minimum $25 for reserving your toy, although the deposit price may be as high as $50. The console is likely to be priced at around 15,000 Yen or about $300 in Japan.

Although, the console is expected to hit Japanese market on February 26th, but European and the US markets will have to wait a bit longer for 3DS. The new console will come equipped with front facing camera which you can use to take a picture and then can convert that picture into a Mii. The console will have a "tag mode" which will let you interact with other 3DS systems over you local wi-fi network.  So, now all you have to do is to go visit your local GameStop, make your deposit and then wait for 2-odd months for the arrival of your console. Hey, at least, this way need not camp outside the vendor store on the release date.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
