Virgin's iPad-exclusive magazine 'Project' is already out and its first issue is available for free at iTunes. The magazine had beenlaunched by a collaboration of Virgin America, Virgin Mobile Canada and Virgin Blue. You can download the magazine app from the App store and then can download individual issues from within the app.
The app was launched almost a month back and its debut issue was priced at $2.99. Apple is currently working on a recurring application subscription. We hope that Apple would be able ot alter its application programming interface before News Corporations' 'The Daily' hits Apple App Store. The tablet-only newspaper is expected to debut on January 17.
As for 'Project', it certainly has some iPad-centric features. For one of its stories, you will have to use your fingers to clear online dust to reveal the headline 'Eat My Dirt'. Don't worry, the article is actually about a Denish Chef. If that's not the reason big enough for you then the issue also carries a profile on 'Tron' star and Academy Awards winner Jeff Bridges. So go ahead, and make best of this opportunity before it vanishes on December 29th.
