Bad news for iPhone users. They'll be one less present under the tree this year. The eagerly awaited untethered iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch has been delayed according to hacker Comex.
There was originally hopes of a Christmas release of the jailbreak but Comex Tweeted that
"he thinks he is going to miss the Christmas deadline"¦"
Fellow hacker MuscleNerd, who had raised hopes of a festive release stating that is an "achievable deadline" has now deleted which doesn't bode well for a quick release
Some (extremely hopeful) jailbreak fans are hoping that Comex is trying to 'throw them off' and will indeed have the latest iOS cracked in the next couple of days but like everything else, chances are we won't be seeing it until the new year.
