LG had recently announced its dual core phone Optimus 2X. However, the company had not made any announcementregarding its price. Although, we were sure that this double-powered phone wouldn't be coming cheap, our fears have just been corroborated. Apparently, the phone is going to cost you a hefty $730 sans a contract. However, if you are ready to shackle yourself with a 2 years contract, then you will have to shell out $450.
The phone is available for pre-order from an online retailer but the prices have not been confirmed by LG. Under its bonnet, LG Optimus 2X has a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and 8GB of internal storage. Its storage capacity can be expanded up to 32 GB using a microSD card. The phone's display size is a generous 4 inches and it can record and playback Full HD video. LG Optimus also has dual cameras and the rear camera has massive 8 MP resolution. Although, the phone is currently on Android 2.2 Froyo platform, but soon it will get upgraded to Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread.
