Good news for all the Gran Turismo fans. The game has just received 600 MB worth of updates, which have made Gran Turismo 5even more awesome. Under the new tweaks, the game now has a Gran Turismo Academy. There are going to be new seasonal events and new "hot car dealer". You will also get to choose the custom background music. The license test menus have also been streamlined.
The game now has a Seasonal Events area. From this area, you can participate in official online events. These events will be open for a limited time only. You can earn rewards and experience points by completing these events. The addition of "Hot Car Dealer" to the main GT Life Screen will make it easier for you to pick up rare used cars. The game will now also show your stats on your Garage stats and on your profile. You can see the total distance driven online and your wins from this area.
For a limited time, that is, till the end of January month, you can enjoy increased rewards for your wins in A-Spec and B-Spec mode. So, I guess, I am going to spend my holidays racking up my score.
