Sony has just launched a new product which is definitely going to reach at the top of my "Most wanted gifts for this Christmas" list.
Sony Europe has just launched a new 22 inches LCD HDTV which features a built-in PlayStation 2. Now, that's what I call convergence at its best. The TV features four HDMI ports, a Freeview tuner, an Ethernet connection and three USB input slots. Apart from this, the TV also twin optical digital outputs and VGA and component ports.
This Bravia TV also has Internet Video capability and can access Lovefilm, YouTube and collection of other high quality content. The internet may be accessed using either of its two Ethernet connection or Wi-Fi USB adapter.
And the best part is, of course, the fact that you can play your PS2 discs using this TV. The TV comes bundled with a PS2 controller and therefore is game ready. Sony KDL-22PX300 is currently being sold exclusively through Richer Sounds in the UK. At £199, this sure is a wonderful Christmas gift.
