Facebook is about to bring a cavalcade of changes to its layout. The social network site will now let its users customize their pages to
give them a more personal appeal. According to a blog post made on Facebook blog, the company said that now it will be easier for users to add their life history and work profile to their homepage. They can also highlight their friends on their profile page.
Facebook is also planning to revamp its biography section. Now, the section will also include the latest photographs in which you have been tagged. Under work profile, now you can add not only the places where you work or have worked but can also post details about your projects. The company has not changed its privacy policy.
Seems like, Facebook is getting serious about its competition with Google. The new changes will provide more wholesome picture of the user and the changes are likely to make the site more appealing to advertiser, who now can fine tune their advertisements according to the user's profile. We would say that Facebook has made things a lot easier for hackers and data scalpers. We would advise our readers to remain cautious about the personal data they share on the internet. Facebook is planning to introduce these changes in a sequential manner to counter the usual protests from its users. The new layout is likely to be available early next year.

This new layout is ridiculous. I’ve just upgraded my profile to have the new profile layout and i find it extremely ugly and confusing. I don’t like that my photos are on display above my profile and i do not like the fact it tells everything about me under my name. It has moved the little box from under my photo to my bio which is stupid. I liked the little box underneath my photo as it showed a little bit about me without having to click into my bio and reading it all.
I hate that they’ve put my family members on display at the bottom of my profile underneath my friends. It makes my profile look long whereas before they were in neat little boxes. I dislike the new layout IMMENSELY and advise anyone who hasn’t got it yet NOT TO DO ITTT!!!!!
