Google Releases Stable Version of Chrome 8

Google has finally released the latest version of its Chrome browser. Chrome 8 now comes with a couple of new features and it alsohas fixed a number of security and bug issues. Chrome 8 or Chrome 8.0.552.215, now is equipped with a PDF viewer. This new utility uses Chrome's Sandboxing function for security. The browser also supports Chrome Web Store, although the store is yet to be released. The official release note does not state the compatibility with Web Store, but it does list 800 bug fixes made for this browser.

Chrome 8 will let you zoom through the internet much faster than Chrome 7. Rumors are around that it is twice as fast as its predecessor. Chrome 8 also features Flags menu, Google Instant Search and GPU accelerated compositing. The new version will also automatically disable outdated plugins and will provide cross-site scripting protection. Google employs automatic update mechanism which means your browser will be updated automatically. However, if you are super eager to try out the goodies then you can just go ahead and download the latest version. Do let us know your views, though!
