Because of the Samsung Galaxy Tab’s 7-inch screen, many of the apps which can be obtained from the Android marketplace don’t scale to the screen’s full size (most likely because the OS was originally intended for Mobile devices). Luckily, there is now a solution to this problem, allowing owners of the Android-packing tablet device to have apps intended for smaller resolution screens to stretch out to full screen.
Jkkmobile has released a youtube video which shows the solution: The solution first involves downloading an app called ‘spare parts’ from the Android marketplace. You then launch the app (which funnily also doesn’t fit the full screen) and then go to compatability mode and select it. Once you have selected it, you then reboot the tab, go back to the spare parts app and unselect compatability mode. Once you have unselected it you restart the tablet again and it should finally be showing all apps on a full screen.
