Now, that we have accepted the fact that we won't be laying our hands on white iPhone anytime soon, let's divert our attentiontowards iPhone 5. Rumors about iPhone 5 using "Near Field Communication" or NFC are old now. The latest buzz is about iPhone using a unique feature of this concept.

According to Cult of Mac, the new iPhone may include a new portable computing function.   This new function will let users transfer their settings and data from their Mac computers to their iPhones and vice versa. And for this, all you have to do is to wave the magic wand"¦erm, iPhone near an NFC enabled Mac. Once your NFC iPhone is out of range, the host computer will be back to its normal state.

Essentially, the new technique will let you virtually carry your Mac computer through your iPhone. Apple is now certainly moving in new directions. The company's new OS X Lion demo shows that the OS will have the capability of auto saving and auto resuming application. Although, Apple is not the first one to venture into NFC jungle, Lenovo has already started offering NFC option on some of its ThinkPad laptops.
