Projector - by memory, this to me is a huge, noisy machine used in our infant school assemblies for us to sing along to 'I am a lighthouse'. (Cringe-worthy memories…) Projectors have come a long way since those days. Now 3M, the company that brought you the ever popular Post-It notes and Scotch tape (amongst other things) introduce the MPro110 Micro Professional Projector.
The MPro110 is tiny, lightweight, mobile and the first of its kind. Weighing just 152 grams and comparable in size to a smart phone, this micro projector has the ability to project from 5 inches to 50 inches diagonal onto any smooth surface; ceiling or wall. It uses LCOS technology (for those not privy to projector jargon, it means Liquid Crystal on Silicon - a reflective technology using liquid crystals rather than individual mirrors used in DLP projectors). It has an aspect ratio of 4:3 and a native resolution of 640 x 480 VGA.
It is designed for use with laptops and can easily be used with mobile phones, digital cameras, games consoles, iPods and other multi-media devices via use of specialist cables. Perfectly portable, the projector has no fans, so it’s silent. This teeny little device runs for one hour on a rechargeable battery or can be powered by mains adapter if required for longer use.
Perfect for business use, the MPro110 promises quick and easy delivery of presentations whilst on the road or in a last minute meeting.
But it's not all work and no play. Use this compact gizmo to share photos and videos with friends and family. Or plug in the mains adapter, grab the popcorn and fizzy drinks and watch a movie.
The MPro 110 will set you back around £299.

nice blog and good info
can’t be nowhere near a proper projector though.
Nice write up. Projectors are something that the whole family can enjoy. I happen to have an Epson MovieMate in the den for the family to watch movies. It is nices with a screen but it also works on the wall.
