Adobe had recently introduced its AIR2.0 for Android and now there is an interesting App for streaming music to your Android
device. Basically, this app lets you listen to your music collection residing on your home PC. The best part is that this app is compatible with both wi-fi and 3G. Well, actually it works with 4G as well.
All you have to do is to download the server to your computer and then download Skytunes application from the Android Market. Once you install this application, you are all set to rock on. This platform is compatible with Windows, Linux and OSX. However, you will need to have Android 2.2 or higher on your device.
Skytunes will also cache your music to the SD card so you can listen to your tunes even when you are not around any data connection. The app has received good reviews for its performance and clean zany interface. Although, there are already a couple of other service and apps around which can perform the task, but the cross-OS compatibility of Skytunes is certainly a good feature.
