Wii Storage Solution Revealed

It seems Nintendo have actually been working on a hard drive solution to the Nintendo Wii as we thought, but it was not what we were expecting.

It seems that Nintendo have decided to use the built-in SD card function, so it seems that users will be able to download content directly onto a SD card rather than making a backup instead, which is currently available on the Wii.

hhhmmm seems fine I hear you say but unfortunately Nintendo also mentioned that you will not be able to play your content from the SD card directly, instead you will need to copy it onto the Wii’s internal memory before you can play it, sounds like allot of copy and pasting to me.

Critics also state that with the slow transfer speeds from SD to the Wii’s internal memory (and visa versa) this could mean waiting awhile.

Oh well at least we got a solution to the problem.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
