If you were a Mac owner who wanted a Windows Phone 7 Device but were worried about compatibility between the rival company products you needn't worry anymore, Microsoft has just launched the public beta for an app called the Windows Phone Connector.

The Windows Phone Connector is a free app which allows you to sync music, photos, videos and podcasts on OS X systems. The connector app works with both iTunes and iPhoto, but unfortunately not Zune (whether this could change in the future is indefinite) where through a rather simple process you can transfer entire media libraries between the Mac and Windows (with the probable exception of music from the WP7 device to the Mac).

For a quick demonstration of the Windows Phone Connector app follow the video link below. Does this change any Mac users' thoughts on getting a WP7 Device? If your using the Windows Phone Connector already let us know how useful (or not) you're finding it.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
