jailbreaking tools. The Dev Team has announced the latest version of its iGadget jailbreaking tool. However, the latest tool, PwnageTool 4.1 currently works only on Mac computers.
PwnageTool 4.1 is capable of hacking the devices using iOS 4.1. So, now you can go ahead and hack your iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4. It also work on iPod Touch 3G and 4G, apart from Apple TV 2G and iPad running firmware 3.2.2. According to the reviews, the new tool is pretty easy to use, however, it still faces some obstacles with Apple's baseband version.
The Dec Team, in its blog, has stated that this tool let you restore your gadget to a custom IPSW file. Since, Apple TV jailbreak is still in the nascent stage, so you will have to use command-line and you cannot use your remote. But hey, it's the beginning. The download is available at the The Dev Team website, but as always, do it at your own risk.
