Limera1n Jailbreak for iOS 4.1 Now Available on Mac

Last week Geohot gave all Apple jailbreaking fanatics something to get excited about with their new jailbreak tool Limera1n which allowed jailbreaking of the iPhone 4. The only problem was, that those who love Apple enough to also be the owner of a Mac, found the software was unusable.

Well, those people's prayers have been answered as Limera1n can now be loaded from a Mac. The jailbreak tool isn't just limited to the iPhone 4 however, as it is actually an iOS 4.1 jailbreak which works on any device which uses the latest Apple OS (so you iPad and iPod Touch owners can get excited too).

Unfortunately we don't have too much information regarding the jailbreak, so do take care if you're going to use it but apparently Limera1n uses the same exploit as the Green Pois0n jailbreak which launched a few days ago.
