Today is the big day for Microsoft and Smartphones with their huge Windows Phone 7 launch in London and New York. Over the last few weeks (months in some cases) we've seen many leaks and rumours circulating around the various devices that will use the new OS from Microsoft, but it looks like with just hours before the event (2pm for the Old London one), we still get some pre-emptive information.
Well, the HTC HD7 is back on the table with TmoNews revealing some press release-esque pictues along with some updated specifications from previous rumours we had on the phone just a couple of weeks ago.
The device (which is also known as the HTC Schubert) is sporting a 4.3-inch 480×800 display, 3G, 576MB of RAM, GPS, and WiFi. The device's 5 Meg-pixel camera comes with auto-focus, dual LED flash, and digital zoom. The internal storage is supposedly going to be 8GB for the European version, but the T-Mobile version is supposedly going to have 16GB of internal storage instead.
The rumoured prices for the phone suggest that you will be looking at around $200 (£125) after a two-year agreement, although take this bit of information with a pinch of salt. As well as a T-Mobile release, it has also been suggested by 911sniper that the phone will also be looking at an O2 UK Release.
We will have plenty of information from the Windows Phone 7 event soon, and will hopefully be able to clear up any of the possibly wrong leaks and rumours going around the HTC HD7 and any other WP7 device we've discovered recently. Keep an eye out for any more news on WP7 in the coming hours.
