Glass Scratches On iPhone Being Looked Into By Apple

As a lot of iPhone users may have already unfortunately realised, the glass back of the device scratches easily. As well as just from wear and tear, the glass is also known to scratch when being used by various third-party cases, which is usually caused by dust getting trapped between the case and the iPhone and it being slid on and off.

Unfortunately Apple themselves are lacking in cases for the iPhone and are currently only offering bumper cases for the device.

However, Apple have been reported to have been testing various cases on the device to attempt to find out exactly what is causing the problem. This means we will hopefully be seeing the problem fixed with future iPhone generations or perhaps they could just offer their own case? Has your iPhone had scratching problems? Leave your thoughts below.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
