Motorola Droid Pro aims to take on BlackBerry

Whilst the latest smartphones battled for the attention of the average consumer RIM sat on its throne and watched as its BlackBerry handset dominated the 'enterprise market' but rich businessmen, politicians and bankers is unsurprisingly a lucrative target audience and now other manufactures are wanting a slice of the action.

Window's have announced that they will be targeting business users with their Phone 7 and now Motorola have introduced a new handset directly aimed at business customers. Watch out RIM.

Motorola have created the Droid Pro. The Pro has enhanced security features, remote phone management, and data encryption (in case phones are ever lost or stolen) along with a 3.1-inch touch screen, full Qwerty keyboard, and the latest Android OS

No word yet on price or availability but when it does appear BlackBerry better have a strong competitor lined up after the Torch proved disappointing.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
