Apple TV Shipment Vows: Shipment Charges Refunded

Reportedly, Apple has been sending emails to some of its customers, who had ordered expedited shipping for Apple TV, informing them their shipping charges have been waived as their will be delays in the shipment. Although, it is not clear whether the shipping of the device have been delayed or simply that the devices are not available for priority delivery. Apple had started accepting orders for Apple TV this Wednesday. On the company website, the early orders for the device are still listed as "Ships: September".

Apple TV had introduced Apple TV earlier this month. The latest version is considerably petite and is about ¼ the size of its predecessor. It supports HDMI I/O, Wi-Fi, optical audio and Ethernet. However, the device lacks a hard drive, which the company claims is a right step in on-demand streaming direction. Apple TV works on rental mode, where you can pick the contents to be streamed over internet on-demand, instead of purchasing the media and saving it.

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
