Dell has launched its new Tablet computer at an Oracle Corp. conference in San Francisco. The seven inch tablet will run on Android operating system. While the company CEO did not provide much details, but looks like that Dell is talking about fabled 7-inch slated known as "The Looking Glass". Rumors about "The Looking Glass" started doing rounds a couple of months back, when several Dell documents were leaked. These documents apparently contained the blue prints of the company's upcoming devices. Since, Michael Dell decided to divulge no information about the tablet's specs, we will just have to wait and see if he is talking about the same device or about a new tablet altogether.

Dell already has stepped into the tablet segment with Streak, which is a cross between a smartphone and tablet. Streak also runs on Android and has 5 inches screen. On a different note, the company has also announced its plans to introduce Streak via Best Buy stores. Although, no official figures about Streak is available but the company has conceded that the financial performance of the tablet is negligible compared to the company's overall revenue. Let's just hope its bigger tablet fares better than Streak.
