'It's not the technology. It's what you do with it.' That's the tagline from Nokia's latest ad campaign.
Sure the company has just released a trio of new Symbian phones but it’s the N8 handset that’s getting us excited. Making it clear that the smartphone, is not really a smartphone but more of a mobile computer, the latest advert for the N8 ignores the usual advert standards like 'We have loads of apps for you to personalise your phone with.' It doesn’t mention the fact it offers free navigation forever. It doesn't even mention the mind blowing 8 megapixel camera and advanced video editing. Instead Nokia are focusing on what they (and intel) do best: innovation.
The advert shows the creative ways in which the N8 had been adapted into various projects. There's the classic dancing robot, the amazing live skateboarding game and the wacky hamster charger. It's definitely worth a look, so hit play below and see a glimpse of what the future of mobile technology has to offer. (and let’s just pretend that MeeGo doesn’t exist, that’s essentially what Nokia are doing.)
