BlackBerry Torch 9800-Vodafone Pricing Leaked

Although BlackBerry Torch's pricing on major carriers in the US and Canada have been public from some time, but there was no such scoop for its UK-counterpart. Torch's carrier in the UK, Vodafone, largely remained mum on this issue. However, the good people at BBLeaks have managed to snag some Vodafone price sheets. The plans are typically one to two years along and there are quite a few options for picking up the right plan. The floor price for the data plans has been set at £20 which then reaches beyond £40 mark. However, with the higher range plans, you will get your handset for free, which has earlier been priced in the vicinity of £479.99 by Play.com.

BlackBerry Torch has the distinction of being first smartphone with a physical slider keyboard. However, you can also input data using its 3.2 inch capacitive LCD touch screen. The phone sports 624MHz processor with 512 MB RAM, which, compared to GHz processors, is not very impressive. However, BB revamped its GUI and this phone comes with completely made over Desktop Manager. BlackBerry also integrated various social feeds and chat platforms for this phone. Although, the phone was launched with much hype, but it failed to provide stellar sales numbers for the company. The company managed to sell only 150,000 devices over its opening weekend. This figure does not bid well for BlackBerry when you consider the fact that Apple sold 1.7 million iPhone 4 during its opening weekend. So, what is your reaction to the yet-to-be-announced carrier plans? Would it make or break your decision to go for Torch?
