We've all been on the edge of our seats to see what Samsung have in stall for us at IFA, but it seems the Galaxy Tab is just too much to keep secretive about. A teaser has revealed that the upcoming iPad rival is running on Samsung's 1GHz Hummingbird processor and has a 7-inch 1024 x 700 touchscreen, Android 2.2 Froyo, integrated 3G and either a 16GB or 32GB flash storage. The tablet is also supporting Flash Player 10.1.
Other specs revealed for the tablet include a 3-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash that is capable of recording 720p HD video on the back as well as a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front of the device for video calls. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack, an integrated speaker, a microSD card slot, and built-in WiFi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0
The 4000mAh battery can supposedly keep the tablet running for 1500 hours on standby and 1000 minutes of talk time. The device is running on Android, so naturally they have the usual default apps including Swype, Gmail, a video player capable of viewing 1080p HD, ThinkFree, and Google Maps Navigation.
Samsung has said that the Galaxy Tab will be arriving in Europe first for mid-September, and then shortly followed by Korea, the USA and Asia in "the coming months" with no word on prices as of yet.

engadget has pricing info http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/02/samsung-galaxy-tab-reported-to-retail-at-699-and-799-in-europe/ seems like a bit of a rip-off if you ask me. I expect this kind of pricing from Apple.
