HTC Desire HD and HTC Desire Z Coming Soon on Mobiles.co.uk?

It would appear that the sightings for the notorious HTC Desire HD on retailer websites seems to be a regular occurrence at the moment. First we saw the HTC Desire HD appear on the Amazon UK website and then it was removed and now mobiles.co.uk website shows clear evidence to suggest that there is a HTC Desire HD on the horizon.

There is no image on the website, however they have not been shy to tell all about some of the phones features, which their description reads:

The HTC Desire HD runs the latest Android 2.2 Froyo operating system on a stunning 4.3 inch touchscreen display. Powered by a 1GHz processor, the Desire HD is capable of running multiple applications with ease. Use Android to customise your phone with exciting new apps and interactive shortcuts and stay close to the people that matter with HTC Sense UI providing live updates from all your favourite social networks. Formerly known as the Ace, the Desire HD boasts a stunning 8 Megapixel camera with 720p HD video capture, and free voice guided SatNav with Google Maps.

So we were right about the HTC HD running on the latest Android 2.2 Froyo and touting a 4.3 inch screen. Also included would be a 8 megapixel camera, enough to beat off the iPhone 4’s 5 megapixel camera and 1GHz processor.

However, what is even more interesting on the website, which we shouldn’t overlook is that we should expect a Desire Z too, which is described as an Android 2.1 device with a sliding keyboard. Not particularly revolutionary compared to the HTC Desire HD’s specs but nonetheless we’ll keep you updated on more information regarding the two HTC phones.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
