Samsung Galaxy Tablet UK Launch Geared for Vodafone

Samsung is all set to launch its Galaxy tablet in a few weeks at the IFA event.

According to the rumors, the tablet will be bundled with Vodafone connection for its launch in the UK. A screenshot of Vodafone's inventory system is doing rounds on the internet and the system clearly shows the presence of "Samsung Galaxy Tablet Contract". However, no other details are available yet.

The company also has made some changes to the specs of the machine. Galaxy is now expected to sport a 1 GHz hummingbird processor instead of 1.2 GHz A8processor. According to a leak by Samsung-Firmwares, the tablet has a 7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 480×800 resolution. The tablet is likely to have 16 GB of built-in memory. Its rear-facing camera resolution is 2048×1536, while the specs for its video recording are not confirmed. Apart from this, there is a usual horde of features such as Bluetooth, WiFi, SyncML support and GPS. By the way, this tablet will also support Flash player and JavaScript 1.5. As for the operating system, Galaxy will come equipped with the latest Froyo version of Android. Samsung has not provided any pricing details.
