It would appear that Google are not slowing down pace at the moment, especially when it comes to the smartphone market. With recent rumours of a Android based gaming smartphone on the horizon and the rolling out of their Android 2.2 update on their latest handsets, Google have confirmed that the company will announce a new Android feature today.
Now, the reason why it hasn’t been promoted as much is because it is seen as a ‘small event’, according to Google’s spokesperson, so we’re not expecting big news, such as the release of next OS, the Android 3.0 but more of an application feature.
Could it be details on Google Maps Navigation or Google Goggles? We’ll keep you updated on more news so stay tuned folks…
