Gadget Helpline Team Up with Amazon to Create Interactive iPod Touch User Manual

TMTI (Talk Me Through It), the parent company of Gadget-Helpline has teamed up with Amazon and Amazon UK to provide a brand new, fully interactive Apple iPod Touch user-manual for its customers.

The Virtual iPod has over 60 step by step interactive walkthroughs, for all of your iPod Touch questions and queries ranging from 'Out of the Box setup' to more advanced guides like how to download and install an App.

Customers who are looking to get an iPod Touch or need help with their existing Touch can head to Amazon.com who have provided the full step iPod Touch emulator for all iPod touch devices listed on the site.

The emulator gives customers a feel for the iPod Touch before buying and can help out existing customers with any iProblems they may have.

The 'interactive iPod' features Top 10 tips such as Wi-Fi Beginners Tips, Downloading an App, Syncing music Files and even Purchasing a Song and customers can use the search bar to find the answers that they need.

The simulator also features a full specifications list of the iPod Touch and an "In The Box" list which details the contents of the iPod Touch package and gives pictures of each accessory.

It’s an inventive idea to help out confused consumers and hopefully the idea will catch on and start to be used for other gadgets.

Interactive iPhone anyone?

Update: It would seem we spoke to soon, as minutes after this article went live, TMTI contacted us to let us know that the interactive guide is also available for the popular HTC phones, the HTC Legend and HTC Desire too.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
