Largest Apple store in the world opens in Covent Garden tomorrow.

Forget New York, Paris and Tokyo. London is fast becoming the coolest city in the World. Not only do we have the Queen and the Olympics but by tomorrow we will have the largest Apple store in the entire world (with the largest stockpile of ipads in the world to go with it.)

The new flagship store opens its doors at 10am in London's Covent Garden and trumps both Regent Street and 5th Avenue, New York locations.

The store comes complete with 56 Macs, 30 iPads, 40 iPods and 30 iPhones to play with along with one-to-one training and a Community Room where you can get in-depth tuition in pro apps such as Final Cut.

It is the first store to use iPod Touches to scan purchases without a till and has chip-and-pin machines on almost every table meaning no huge queues at the till!

The grand opening of the store is expected to attract thousands of technology fans, and is set to be a day of giveaways and surprises with the first 4,000 customers receiving a free T-shirt.

Personally I think Apple stores are a great idea. If you're forking out so much money on hardware it's nice to know that you can play with it first before you make up your mind and that you can walk into a store and get one-to-one support by Apple experts if something goes wrong.

And it's all even better when its right here in the UK.

Are you about Apple’s latest store?

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
