Has the Samsung Galaxy S got the Best Screen?

Remember the days when the shift to colour screens was most exciting thing to happen to the mobile phone industry (apart from monophonic to polyphonic ringtones)?

Well things have moved on fast, and now with the latest smartphones having the ability to stream movies and videos, play the latest mobile-games and take high spec photographs and video recording, the screen which was once a small box at the top of the screen, is becoming the heart of the handset.

With some manufacturers receiving complaints about the clarity of their screen in bright weather and the overall quality and clarity of the display, Samsung have endeavoured to provide a smartphone with a high-quality screen.

The Samsung Galaxy S comes with a 4" Hyper Definition Super AMOLED screen to provide unmatched brilliance and vivid eye-catching colour regardless of what you are watching on it and the 1GHz processor ensures a fast flowing screen with double tap zoom capability.

Check out the video by Samsung (below) which shows off the Samsung Galaxy and the impressive quality of the screen.

Is this the best smartphone screen on the market, or do you think there is better? Leave us a comment below.

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
