Lately, iPhone 4 had been at the receiving end of various jabs and flaks, but now it's not alone. iOS 4 has started receiving its own set of criticism and might soon overtake iPhone in the race to achieve 'notoriety'. Ok, Agreed, I am exaggerating. However, iPhone users are now complaining of Bluetooth connectivity issue. Apparently, this issued is being faced by the users who upgraded their software as well others who spent their hard earned money on buying a plush new iPhone 4.
Upon scanning the official Apple discussion forums, you will come across a number of people complaining about the dropped Bluetooth signals. In some cases, the connection is mysteriously dropped after the two Bluetooth devices are paired. While at other times, the phone simply refuses to recognize and display other Bluetooth devices. The true extent of this problem is not known since most of the complaints are still found on the internet only. And since, as yet, there is no public outcry pertaining this problem, Apple too has not admitted guilt.
Till the time of writing this article, Apple has not advised the users to hold their phones in a certain way to avoid this problem. Although, users have come up with their own fixes. While iOS 4.0.1 update does not solve this problem, changing your phone settings might help. You can do it by accessing the settings app and following the path to "reset all settings". Reportedly, this fix also works for proximity sensor problems. Apple is very close to topple Microsoft from its throne, but, in the future, it better refrain from making such glitch-prone devices.

Another setback once again for Apple it will be interesting to see what’s next in the news regarding iPhone issues (antenna, manufacturing and now service charges) and their steps to refund cases won’t make up for the iPhone 4’s lack of function over form.
It’s a shame to see so many issues with the iPhone 4 after so many people waited for it’s release. What’s more of a shame is that it seems Apple knew about some of these issues already, such as the problem with reception.
But Apple have created such a loyal following that people may just put up with what issues there are for the sake of owning the latest Apple product.
Personally, I’d be happier with an older iPhone – at least then the issues are all ironed out.
However, it’s also interesting to see how much excitement new technologies can bring.
Guess it’s not all bad!
All high tech products have glitches, it’s hard to push boundaries without problems, just give it a rest.
A fraction of a percentage had the antenna issues and even less have the bluetooth issue, it’s clearly a software thing that will be fixed.
At least Apple do fix problems and very quickly.
So what if you have to jump through a few hoops if the bluetooth stops working. Jumping through hoops to get stuff working sounds like an every day event using a PC.
