iPad may be a blockbuster hit for Apple, but it looks like it is getting treated like an ugly step sister. Not only do iPad owners have to wait for some time to get iOS4 update, but apparently they will also have to pay for it.
According to Stuff.tv, Apple is planning to charge for the software upgrade. The site has claimed they have got the scoop from an anonymous source, however they have given no details about the rumored fee.
Although, the levy is not confirmed yet, it won't be the first time for Apple to charge its customers for the updates. Historically, iPod Touch users had been charged for the upgrades so could the same be happening to the iPad?
Apple has refused to issue any comments on the rumor so keep watching this space for more updates.
Are you an iPad user? Do you think it is acceptable for Apple to charge for the iOS 4 update? Leave us your thoughts below…
