The iPhone has been voted the Coolest Gadget of the Year by a panel of industry experts.

Apples revolutionary new mobile phone, set to launch in the UK next month, was described as: The coolest gadget of the yearby a country mile. The gesture-sensitive touchscreen interface remains the most impressive piece of technology weve seen this decade – it really must be seen to be believed.

The 2007 Cool List was exclusively unveiled at a special ceremony last night which took place at futuristic London nightclub 24.
