Is Facebook About to Face the Music In the Court Room?

The owner of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg and his team are going to a Boston court room tomorrow to contest to the allegations that he stole the billion dollar Facebook business idea from three of his former Harvard classmates.

With more than 150,000 new members of the social networking site signing up everyday and it was recently revealed that Londoners are the most enthusiastic about Facebook in the UK, I want to say good luck to Mr Zuckerberg as it would be a tremendous shame to close down such a popular social networking site which brings friends and strangers together.

  • I had not heard about this yet. I sure hope that they don’t have to close it down because it has become quite popular. I know quite a few people that use it now and would hate to see it shut down.

  • Has anyone heard anymore on this and I read something yesterday on a forum that Facebook might become a pay site. Have any of you heard this also? Just curious.

  • I haven’t heard anything about Facebook being a pay site but look at my latest article about major companies pulling adverts from Facebook because they’re positioned near the UK racist ‘political party’, the BNP.

This is definitely not a good thing for Facebook who rely heavily on advertising to make their revenue.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
