iPhone 4 UK Prices and Tariffs Released Officially by Vodafone

With the UK release date of the iPhone 4 coming in less than a weeks time, it would appear that Vodafone are the next ones to have announced their pricing on the iPhone 4.

Although last week a leaked test shot was shown on the Vodafone website showing iPhone 4 tariffs and prices, but then quickly taken down, it would appear that the pricing wasn’t far from the truth as there has only been a slight increase in the prices, so let’s take a look at the highest and the lowest tariffs on the 16GB and 32GB iPhone 4.

16 GB iPhone 4 - 18 Month Contract

  • Lowest Monthly Plan - The iPhone 4 will cost you £219 at £30 per month. This will give you 75 minutes and 250 text per month with 1 GB of data download.
  • Highest Monthly Plan - The iPhone 4 will be free at £65 per month. This will give you a 3000 minutes and unlimited texts with 1 GB of data download.

32 GB iPhone 4 - 18 Month Contract

  • Lowest Monthly Plan - The iPhone 4 will cost you £309 at £30 per month. This will give you 75 minutes and 250 text per month with 1 GB of data download.
  • Highest Monthly Plan - The iPhone 4 will cost you £59 at £65 per month. This will give you a 3000 minutes and unlimited texts with 1 GB of data download.

16 GB White or Black iPhone 4 - 24 Month Contract

  • Lowest Monthly Plan - The iPhone 4 will cost you £219 at £25 per month. This will give you 75 minutes and 250 text per month with 1 GB of data download.
  • Highest Monthly Plan - The iPhone 4 will be free at £60 per month. This will give you a 3000 minutes and unlimited texts with 1 GB of data download.

32 GB White or Black iPhone 4 - 24 Month Contract

  • Lowest Monthly Plan - The iPhone 4 will cost you £309 at £25 per month. This will give you 75 minutes and 250 text per month with 1 GB of data download.
  • Highest Monthly Plan - The iPhone 4 will cost you £59 at £60 per month. This will give you a 3000 minutes and unlimited texts with 1 GB of data download.

Additional extras include the following:

  • 1GB of Wi-Fi with BT Openzone
  • Price plans over £45 include 5MB European data roaming per day
  • Tethering: £5 for 500MB, £10 for 1.5GB, £15 for 3GB

Looking at what is on offer it would appear that price and deal wise compared to Orange and O2, Vodafone’s 1GB download limit seems a lot more appealing as Orange are only offering you 750MB per month and O2 are offering you 500MB on similar plans. Also, Vodafone’s price plan seems a lot more straightforward then O2’s with varying download limits dependant on the contract.

T-Mobile, Three and Tesco Mobile have still yet to reveal their pricing and it is expect that Three will be the last to reveal all as they are likely to undercut the rest of them, however would you move over to Three is they offered a better deal on the iPhone 4 or are you still not convinced that it can perform as well as the other big players on the market? An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
