T-Mobile might be in the running to launch their high end Galaxy S phone shortly in the US, however it would appear that AT&T are about to cast a dark cloud over T-Mobile’s excitement by revealing that they will be releasing the Samsung Captivate and are pitching it as "a Galaxy S smartphone".
So what will it include? AT&T have revealed that you can expect expect a 5 megapixel camera with 720p recording, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and 16GB of onboard storage combined with support for external storage for a total of up to 32GB; you also have 802.11n WiFi and a variety of built-in apps and AT&T navigator.
Pricing and release date hasn’t been confirmed yet but we can assume that it could be in the next couple of months so stay tuned folks!

Which ones better?
Thanks for the nice article, I’m eagerly awaiting my Samsung Captivate from T-Mobile as soon as they technically confirm that they’re carrying it. I was in my neighborhood store today and experienced a hold of their dummy model. It looks and feels significantly better than I thought. This is actually going to be the phone to have. Never mind the iPhone 4g, the Galaxy S is where it’s at. As for me, I’m upgrading from a Samsung Pixon after an 18 month contract and am delighted to have finally settled on the Galaxy S. The decision process was fraught with many, many hours of investigation on the internet. I was close to an HTC Desire and actually closer to an Xperia X10 but then, from out of nowhere, I came across the GSMArena.com review of the Galaxy S and it just does everything so well.
