The big question we were left with after the impressive Microsoft press conference yesterday was, how much is Kinect going to cost? Microsoft exec Aaron Greenberg has since poured cold water over pricing speculation with a tweet this morning.
He said “No Kinect price announced yet, retail price estimates are purely speculative, final price & pack-in details are yet determined”. He made the announcement just hours after Gamestop published pre-order prices of $149.99 for the camera add-on.
The price tag is for the standalone price and they had the bundle down for $399.99. We think the price is not far off, but the next step for Microsoft to is to work out a price tag that won’t discourage people from purchasing the new family friendly Xbox.
So what price would you pay for the new Xbox Kinect ? And would you expect a couple of games with the new camera system for a £100 ? Let us know below…

If it’s more than £100 and no games, then I wont be getting one. Don’t forget the 20% vat to go on top…….rip off city
