Google Nexus One Hacked to Include 720p HD Video Recording Like the iPhone 4

With the announcement of the iPhone 4, its specs and release date a couple of days ago, it would appear that there has been very little room left for news on other smartphones on the market.

Well, just before we thought the iPhone 4 would be stealing all the limelight with their 720p HD Video Recording, it would appear that the tech guys over at XDA Forum have found a new hack which adds the ability to record video on the Nexus One in 720p HD too. The hack requires you to use CM5.0.8test3 and root your Nexus one.

However, XDA Forum are now working on porting this feature over to Android 2.2, so for the more safer option it might be better to wait until it is released.

Check out the video to see how it is all done…

  • I just can’t see anyone competing with the monopolies these days. People just want something not only because what they can do but the brand plays a very big part.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
