iPhone 4: Want to Upgrade to the iPhone 4 Early? You can with O2

With the Apple iPhone 4 released date now confirmed for June 24th, there is still no whiff of UK pricing.

However if you’re an O2 customer and are not due for an upgrade yet but are wanting to get your hands on the iPhone 4 when it is released, then O2 have advised that you might just be able to do that.

O2 are offering their customers an opportunity to upgrade early by paying a small fee. If you are one of those customer then you might want to calculate what the small fee is by using O2 upgrade calculator here on how much it will cost you and whether it is worthwhile.

However, if you’re not interested in paying a fee to upgrade then you can either take the Pay As You Go iPhone route and get a microSIM from O2 or just wait until your contract runs out.

Pricing of Pay Monthly and Pay As You Go options have not been confirmed yet, however we expect them to be released just before June 15th when pre-orders happen.

Will you be buying an iPhone 4 early when it is released on O2 or will you wait until your contract finishes? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think…

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
