One of the irritating problems most of you HTC Desire owners will have on your smartphone is the lack of space to store apps. The only solution to the problem is to delete unwanted apps to install new ones.
However, this maybe a thing of the past soon as a HTC rep let it slip out that the HTC Desire should be getting a Froyo update on the 23rd of June, which will definitely mean a welcome hello to be able to store apps on the micro SD card.
Speaking to a developer from XDA group, who was complaining about the HTC Desire’s lack of space for storing apps, HTC rep hushed that, "You never heard this from me"¦. A new update is coming the 23rd of June and you will be able to put some apps on to the micro SD card."
Well that’s straight from the horses mouth I believe? So for those of you that own a HTC Desire, expect an update in a month time.

Well, that seems to have been a non-event. The only option on the HTC Desire at the moment is a root followed by a Nexus One Froyo ROM, which doesn’t include the HTC Sense UI.
Boo hiss, etc.
