With rumours that the expected release date of the iPhone 4G could be June 21st in the US, we are now hearing more news regarding which mobile phone carrier in the US will offer exclusivity of the iPhone 4G.
According to recent news from Digitimes, it would appear that an order for 10 million CMDA Apple iPhone units have been made which suggest that they could be making their way to Verizon.
Now, we should only take this as speculation especially as there has been some dispute over the the 5 year deal between Verizon’s competition, AT&T and Apple, which started in 2007 and will run until 2012, which would mean that the iPhone will go to AT&T.
However, if Apple manage to get out the deal with AT&T then this will mean that it is likely Verizon will have first dibs on the iPhone 4G. Many people in the tech world believe that this is the time for Verizon to take charge of the iPhone but these are all of course rumours and speculations at the moment.
We should hear more about the news of potential iPhone 4G carriers in the next weeks but for all those AT&T customers, would you switch to Verizon just to get an iPhone 4G? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think…

Yea, why go to the best carrier on the planet. stay with the worst service on the face of the planet. enjoy your lost calls, your text messages being delivered days later and your horrible coverage. if it werent for the iPhone, youd be on verizon. lol toolboxes. cya on vzw network when your contract runs up and verizon has the iPhone! lol
I will never change my AT&T service to verizon , the worst custumer service , The iPhone is part of AT&T who cares if you phone fail or text Message fail , you can resend it again , i like the fact that I call and I can browse what my friends is talking about or whatever he she wants or anything, AT&T+iphons runs the streets . No carrier could have handled the increase of data capacity needed when the iphone released. I feel AT&T gets a real bad rep for it and that is why the iphone is leaving. I had verizon in the past and their customer service was miserable. I am more likely to go with sprint and get an evo. Without an iphone or real android phone at AT&T, though, it would be tough to stay. But definately not Verizon.
