Since the rumoured announcement of the Nintendo 3DS, this has certainly caused a few tongues wagging across the tech industry on potential specs and a possible release date for this popular gaming gadget.
One of the obvious selling points on the 3DS will be 3D gaming, however Nintendo’s President Satoru Iwata told Forbes that the 3D functions on the, Nintendo 3DS will also include a switch off button which will offer the user a 2D mode.
The reason for needing the 3D off switch is believed to be because of the potential risk of headaches youngsters and older people may have when viewing the 3D screen for prolonged hours.
This would definitely make the new Nintendo 3DS far more versatile and appeal to a wider audience but imagine the nightmare this could cause to developers planning to bring new 3D games to the Nintendo 3DS.
