Nokia ‘Politely’ Ask for the Missing Nokia N8 Prototype to be Returned

It would appear that it isn’t only Apple who are having problems with missing prototypes. Tech blog, Mobile Review managed to somehow get their hands on the Nokia N8, leaked all information about their prototype in their detailed review of the phone a few days ago.

Since then Nokia Conversations have spoken out about the prototype asking for it to be kindly returned back to them. Rather than the tactic used by Apple demanding for their iPhone 4G prototype to be returned and getting the police involved, it would appear that Nokia have decided to take on a more subtle heartfelt message and titled their post, ‘One of our children is missing’.

They go on to to say that ‘someone has greatly betrayed that (trust)’ and have suggested that they are looking into finding out who provides the phones to these particular sites for review.

It kind of makes you feel a little sorry for Nokia…well just for a second maybe!

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
