iPhone 4G Leaked Prototype Saga: Now Police Are Getting Involved…

It would seem that Apple aren’t the only ones looking into the lost prototype iPhone which was found last week by Gizmodo’s unknown source.

The iPhone prototype which appeared to be the iPhone 4G was lost by an Apple employee in a bar, in which someone found, picked up and and was supposedly sold to Gizmodo.

After leaked information was revealed across the tech world, Apple contacted Gizmodo asking for them to return the iPhone 4G prototype, in which they did. However, recent news has come in that the police are getting involved and it is looking likely that someone could be charged for the supposed computer crime.

Now there aren’t specifics regarding this however it would be shame if Apple did take this matter to court especially as it was an Apple employee’s fault for leaving the phone accidentally in a bar in the first instance.

What do you think of the recent news? Do you think someone should be charged for finding a prototype? I would say, ‘possession is nine tenths of the law’ but don’t quote me on that please! :-)
