Antigravity Platform – the precarious way to display your antiques.

Since moving into my own flat, I can’t help but fall for trying to keep up with the Jones. Unfortunately, my flat is about as big as a postage stamp, so I don’t really have the room to display things in such a way as to make people go ‘ooh…’.

So I really do wish I could afford an Antigravity Platform. Through the cunning use of really REALLY strong magnets, your vase of flowers, iPod dock or incredibly well trained cat could be made to flat in mid air. And since it’s an electromagnet and mains powered anyway, the designers even thoughtfully included some pretty blue lights to make things extra swish. And you get a globe included too so you can look incredibly intelligent.

Want to feel like you’re really living in the future? Because of how the magnets balance, tap your display item slightly and it’ll spin indefinitely. Neat way to convince yourself that Lost in Space was all true and you’re flying somewhere close to Jupiter…

Stick that to the Jones.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
