iPhone OS 4.0 Update to Include Printing Support for the iPad?

You will all know by now that tomorrow (April 8th) is set to be the official announcement regarding the iPhone OS 4.0 update.

Until now there have been very little details regarding what this new update could include apart from of course multitasking support.

Apple Insider have leaked that Apple could be looking at the prospect of direct printing from the iPad to support their iWork apps, which maybe hints that this could be part of their iPhone 4.0 update.

Although this is just speculation at the moment, it does seem like a good idea especially as Apple users currently have to send documents to a desktop computer that can print them via email or using iPad’s new File Sharing feature on iTunes.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
