Although the Apple iPad was officially launched in the US on Saturday, it is predicted that the iPad frenzy and excitement is set to continue for a very long time. So as the folk in the US enjoy their Apple-tastic loveliness we call the iPad, the rest of the world is still waiting in baited breath for an official announcement of a release date for the iPad.
Last week it was leaked that Apple employees in the Canada were told that April 24th would be black out period for them in taking a holiday that day, which did make us think that this could be the official international launch date of the Apple iPad. Well, it would appear that the rumours and the leaked information keep on coming in thick and fast.
According to the folks over at Bitter Wallet, UK Apple employees have been told that they can’t take a holiday on April 24th, which could only mean that they are set to be a very busy that day due to an imminent iPad launch. In addition to this the rumoured launch date does fall on a Saturday, which does follow the same pattern as the US iPad launch.
So when can we expect pre-orders? The US were able to pre-order their iPad 3 weeks before the launch date, however we have only over 2 weeks before the launch date of the rumoured Apple iPad to international waters, so does this either mean that we could see people being able to pre-order the iPad in the next couple of days or could we expect the Apple iPad’s UK launch date be pushed back by another week to follow the same pre-order pattern as the US?
