Finally – a robot doll that will appeal to girls more than boys! (Well, except those boys who are just a little bit lonely…)
Dorosseru is a character from ‘Fireball’, Japan’s first Disney produced CG movie. I don’t know what it’s about, but if all the characters are as cool as this one then I want to see it!
The doll (I don’t think it does any of the cool Robosapien style movement unfortunately) has movable joints making it fully poseable as you can see in the pictures below. It stands at 18cm tall (tall enough to kick Barbies ass) and weighs in at 270 grams.
Is it wrong that I really want one…?
If I stop the girly squee-ing for a moment, the level of design on this is immense. Not just content with the usual head, shoulders, knees and feet combo of joints, the makers have even given her poseable fingers. Hell, I want one just to use as a poseable artists doll (much better than a quivering bloke…).
