iPad Release Date: March 26 2010?

ipad release dateApple hasn’t officially confirmed this release date for their Apple iPad, however rumours in the tech world suggest that March 26th could be a likely date for us to get our mitts on the must have Apple device of 2010.

The Examiner as well as tech blog, MacRumors heard from several insider sources that the Apple Stores could be selling the iPad on Friday, 26th at 6pm. If rumours are true then it would appear that Apple have placed this date at the best time possible, especially as the end of the month usually means payday for a large majority of people.

As a run up to the rumoured release date of March 26th, Apple will begin delivering their iPads units to stores on March 10th and product training with advertising on March 15th.

This definitely ties into what Apple has said all along, that the shipping date of the iPad 3G will be in late March, however it was only a few days ago when an analyst spread a rumour which suggested that tight inventories might delay the iPad for the end of March release date.

Do you think the Apple iPad release date rumours are true? Will you be parting with your paycheck to buy Apple's most sought after tablet device? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think…

  • Yes I will be parting with my paycheck to get an Apple iPad as soon as it is available.

  • I’ve heard that this is just a big ipod touch. How is this different from the inote?

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
