For readers in Scotland, you’re in for a treat! Gaj-it.com will be featuring on BBC Radio Scotland’s newsdrive programme this evening from 4:50pm-5pm.
I’ll be having a quick chat with presenter Bill Whiteford on the latest Microsoft Xbox 360 price cut, the Apple iPhone, and general gadgets in the run up to Christmas. Yes, I know it’s only September and I’ve already mentioned the ‘C’ word, but with tough economic times upon all of us, it’s wise to go into the shopping frenzy prepared.
If this is usually the time of day you’re cursing the traffic, take a little breather with us!
UPDATE: You can hear Tanya at 57 mins here http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00d7qbz/

Really looking forward to listening to this as its our first Radio appearance.
You answered those questions well and they were tough, Apple do have a few new offerings at Christmas although from what I see they are mainly upgrades to existing Nano’s etc but I think things Google’s Android and Sony’s Reader will be the highlight of Christmas and I can’t really see people spending too much less on Gadgets as they have become essential parts of our day to day life.
Congrats on your first radio segment, Tanya sounded great and certainly knows her stuff!
Great publicity for the site, hopefully you’ll gain a lot of new readers!
Yeah you’re probably right on the Apple front Gaj – I know Kevin Rose (of Digg.com) has been saying he’s had info of some new iPod models – http://kevinrose.com/blogg/2008/8/23/new-ipods-coming-very-soon.html
Nice Gaj. Your a lucky man and well doen Tanya, sounding great. ;)
Yeah these opportunities don’t come often but I’m lucky to have such a great team too.
Wow Tanya! You did a great job in answering those tough cookie questions. I can’t believe how much you managed to answer in a space a 3 minutes but well done.
Well my view of gadget spend this Xmas is that no matter what the economic situation, people will still opt to buy then as gift ideas for their loved ones. Also, the great thing about them is that there is such a large variety to choose from that it is sure to fit into varying customer price points and needs.
For me…I’m waiting for Santa to bring down the chimney an Apple 3G iPhone, so if you’re a listening Santa…I have been good this year! :-)
